How to Fix Minecraft Black Screen

When you install your mod, before you close the .Minecraft folder.

Delete META-INF

META-INF is the most common reason for black screen. If you are installing mods and you have deleted META-INF and you continue to see a black screen. Close your minecraft launcher, and reopen it. If this fails I recommended going to Minecraft.net and re downloading minecraft, and try installing the mod again!

How to Downgrade Minecraft 1.7.2 to 1.6.6

Oh yeah! Minecraft 1.7 is already out! You should be now searching for all those mods and texture packs update. But have you forgotten something? If you are a multiplayer gamer you should know that when there is an update that moment. Because it makes you update to 1.7 immediately, so that means the server you play in might not be updated that fast. Well, that means if your friends inside that server hadn’t updated there Minecraft yet, you will be missing them! That’s what downgrading are for. Some people use it for using the older version mods for fun, when the mods haven’t update yet. So today I’ll show you the way of downgrading Minecraft 1.7 into Minecraft 1.6.6.

How To Downgrade Minecraft 1.7.2 to Minecraft 1.6.6 

  1. Download minecraft.jar 1.6.6
  2. Go to your .minecraft folder in appdata
  3. Go into bin
  4. Delete Existing minecraft.jar
  5. Copy and Paste the new minecraft.jar 1.6.6 that you have download
  6. Run minecraft and don’t update
  7. Play!

After a long time waiting for this to be come real, the Piston in Minecraft. You may used the Piston Mod before, but with Minecraft 1.7 you don’t have to install any mod again and again.

Pistons Crafting Recipe

By the ways, what is Pistons? Piston are blocks the able to push or pull the block. Sticky Piston will stick to an object that they push or pull. Below is the basic use of Piston.

 

  • Pushing (1-12 blocks) or Pulling (1 block) block
  • Moving the player
  • Blocking fluid in Minecraft to make dam, or floodgate
  • Make Wall (Piston Wall)
  • Piston can not push or pull Obsidian, Bedrock, and block with tile entities
  • Piston can push or pull other piston when it is not extended

How to Make Sand Falling Trap in Minecraft

First I must tell you that this trap can be used in 1.6.6 (actually it’s working with every versions) so don’t worry. There are many styles of making this trap either redstones wire, Pressure plates , or the dirt hitting(which you’ll be seeing in this tutorial). If you’re ready lets start ! :

What and Where is Minecraft.jar and How to open – FAQ

What is Minecraft.jar ?

I don’t want to go in detail, just make it simple for you guys. Minecraft.jar is a main system file for Minecraft game. Every files that put in there will effect the game.

Where is Minecraft.jar ?

Minecraft.jar is located in Minecraft directory, but Minecraft directory for Windows and Mac is located in different folder. Here how you can get to it…

  • Find minecraft.ajr in Windows
    1. Click Start Menu (lower left corner)
    2. Then go to Run
    3. Type in %appdata%
    4. There will be a window popup, browse in there you should find a minecraft folder
    5. Go inside minecraft folder, then go into bin folder
    6. Now you should see minecraft.jar
  • Find minecraft.jar in MAC
    1. Open Finder.app
    2. Click “Go” in menubar
    3. Then choose “Go to folder…”
    4. Type in “~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft/bin” (without quotes)
  • Enter and see it yourself

How to open Minecraft.jar

  • Open minecraft.jar in Windows
    1. Download 7Zip or WinRAR
    2. Right-click at minecraft.jar
    3. Hover on “Open with..”
    4. Choose the program either WinRAR or 7Zip
    5. Drag mod files from other folder into the WinRar or 7Zip that you already opened the minecraft.jar
    6. That’s all
  • Open minecraft.jar in MAC
    1. Go to Applications > Utilities
    2. Open up the terminal app
    3. Type in (without quotes) “cd ~” Enter – (Explanation: Browse to User Root folder)
    4. Type in (without quotes) “mkdir mctmp” Enter – (Explanation: Make a directory name “mctmp”)
    5. Type in (without quotes) “cd mctmp” Enter – (Explanation: Go to into mctpmp folder)
    6. Type in (without quotes) “jar xf ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar” Enter – (Explanation: Get Minecraft.jar and extract it to mctmp folder)
    7. In Finder, copy all the files and folders into mctmp directory that you have created in by Terminal command.
    8. Back to Terminall app, type in “rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*” (Explanation: Delete META-INF/MOJANG_C.* file)
    9. Then type “jar uf ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./” – (Explanation: Compress everything and put back to minecraft.jar)
    10. And “./ cd .. rm -rf mctmp” – (Explanation: Delete mctmp folder)

This week Minecraft had been updated a lot, almost everyday. Especially the developer, who building mods and texture packs had to keep their mods and texture packs up to date. While some people that playing Minecraft Multiplayer are not able to access to server caused by “Server Outdated” error. There are still a lot of bugs need to be fix. How about the choice of downgrade your Minecraft? It’s seems to be the best solution for now, and here how it’s can be done.

How to Downgrade Minecraft from 1.6.5 to 1.6.4

  1. Download minacraft.jar version 1.6.4
  2. Go to your Minecraft folder
  3. Find a folder called “bin”
  4. Go inside, delete existing minecraft.jar
  5. Copy and Paste a minecraft.jar that you have downloaded
  6. Run the Game and if I ask for update, don’t update
  7. Enjoy Minecraft 1.6.4

How to Downgrade Minecraft from 1.6.5, 1.6.4, 1.6 to 1.5

  1. Download minecraft.jar version 1.6.5
  2. Do the same thing as downgrade 1.6.5 to 1.6.4

Where is Minecraft.jar located in Mac ?

It is stored in Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin

Too Many Items for Minecraft Multiplayer

I think most of the people who play Minecraft would know what is Too Many Items mod with Modloader. But today I will teach you how to use Too Many items without using ModLoader and also can use in mutiplayer server. It will be very helpful because instead of you writting you can just click it and it will come out, right away. So it will be more easier for you to get the item. But if in multiplayer you must be op to get item out. If you are not op you can’t get the item. Now your Too Many Items mod are now more simple for you to play.

People are seem to be don’t understand how to use it in Multiplayer, actually it is working in both Single Player and Multiplayer without any modification. Just install it as normal and logged in to Minecraft Multiplayer and make sure yourself are OP, then press E and then O. That’s all you need to do.

Installation:

  1. Download Too Many Items for Minecraft 1.6.6
  2. Extract too many item
  3. Copy all of the file inside download zipped file
  4. Paste it in minecraft.jar
  5. Now you just try to play minecraft and press E if you didn’t see anything try to press O
